Dory:

I am currently reading "The Feminization of American Culture" by Ann Douglas. Have you read it? Fascinating read. I think this book by Kassan would be a good follow-up to it.

Thanks for posting your insights. As Christian women, we really do need to deconstruct the feminist agenda before we can truly understand the differences between it and what the Bible calls Christian women to become. We are, after all, products of our culture, as much as we would like not to be.

Much appreciation for your review and comments. Ah, context helps so much in understanding particular events and views. Well, now, if you will excuse me, I need to go wash the dishes!

--- very, very good; but do you also have a personal view of a young woman's freefall (or ascent) (a) from a place in Paul's New Testament community to (b1) to a WWII workplace (maybe your mother), or (b2) to the sexual revolution of the 1970s, or (b3)to more recent equality for women, ethnicity, and the disabled.
