It's always nice to find an old friend on the net, and today I found the blog of a young man I have known through the Church. Chris is a young homeschool graduate who writes and reasons clearly and well, and has a good sense of humor and a zeal for God. Visit him at Welcome to the Fallout. I shudder to think what my blog would have been like when I was 21 years old, had there been such things way back then. It's a good thing God brought me into the world before that was possible!
Other real-life friends on the web are Cindy, who blogs at Dominion Family, Steve Turley, of Fretboard Fellowship, a guitar-strumming theologian who occassionally (and playfully) refers to my son as the antichrist, and Dr. Kenneth Gentry, who actually gets paid for what he writes.
Happy Birthday, Bill
Jesus is still my first love, but you, old man, are still my second.
At the request of our sometimes over-worked hosts, I am going to ammend the policy of the Christian Carnival to enable a host, if he or she wishes, to limit the carnival to the first 40 entries. It is not often that we go much over 40 entries, but when we do, it is quite a project to prepare. Just another reason to get those entries in early! Read the entry guidelines here.
One of my first grade students won second place in a local storybook writing contest, and I'm so pleased for him. Find out more about our school here. (Yes, I know the site needs work. ;-)
